The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989)
Article 1. Every child under 18 has the right to these rights.

More than 50% of Zaatari's population is children under the age of 18.
Many have been exposed to horrible conflict before fleeing their homes to come to the camp.
I think it is important for children to know and understand their rights, just as it is important for any person.
​
By displaying a poster such as this and having open discussions with children, you empower them to ask questions and to think critically about the world that they live in.
