A big few weeks...

I just finished my final 8 week teaching round! After many late nights, early mornings and cups of tea. The moment was definitely bitter-sweet. Saying goodbye to the kidlets was sad, it amazed me how attached I became to these creatures! I do however, feel like I have developed a lot more confidence in myself and ability to actually do this. It is a nice feeling, after 4 years of study to know that I made the right decision.
I have also begun the process to gain my teaching registration and I am excited to have just sent off all my documents to apply for my British passport. I found the process to be rather stressful! I gathered all the documents, including Mum's birth certificate and got a colour photo-copy every single page of my passport! Then I realised I had to send original documents and not copies, which I thought was strange and over-the-top. But what Her Majesty says goes, I guess.
So now my fingers are crossed that the passport gets accepted, and also that Mums and my birth certificates make the long journey safely!
I am now a little closer to my dream of teaching overseas!
